Hi Darlene,

Did you write this article entitled, A Woman’s Touch? What a profound article. I was very moved by your insight into all the different forms of poverty, but how true it is that a lot of us are spiritually in poverty. I am so glad that you have been able to recognize this in your daily walk with the Lord and that you made changes to spend more time with Him in His word and in prayer. What a priviledge we have to have the freedom to read our Bibles and pray whenever we want. God Bless America!!! Your story has really got me to thinking and I applaud you for that. Keep up the great writing. You are very good at this sort of thing. Congratulations and thanks for using your talents to help me and others.

I want to thank Georgia and everyone who contributed and helped with this fundraiser. I felt so bad that I was not able to help. The downfalls of having a child in pre-school.

I got to taste all the soups except the vegetable beef and they were all good. The Chicken and “Noodle” Dumplings was just plain “WOW”! I really need to get the recipe.

Thanks again it was great.

Of course what is in my heart is what God sees. If I am fasting or studying what it means or how to fast…my Father sees that and will bless the effort. Also when I fast I am practicing obedience. On any given day I may go in and out of obedience without noticing it much. However when I am fasting my mind is constnly on Him and how I can praise him for His mercy. I am very excited about this study and I have asked Him to bless us in this.
